Join Ed Surbaugh and Patrick Wesolosky at Keeneland Race Track on Independence Day for a patriotic morning ride and a post ride snack. Please park by East Gate Entrance of the building (on Old Club House Lane near the paddock, see the map below). Keeneland will be closed on the 4th of July, but their restrooms will be open.
We will have staggered starting times. The goal is to have all the routes finishing around 11-11:30am so that everyone has the remainder of the day to celebrate. The routes will roll through the beautiful Bluegrass Countryside. Along the way there will be water stops at couple local cemeteries where Revolutionary War Veterans are buried. Post ride snacks will be provided by the BCC Social Committee. Everyone is encouraged to bring a chair, eat some snacks, and tailgate under the trees after the ride.
The snacks for after the ride will include chips & salsa, wraps (meat & cheese, tuna salad, or veggie), fresh fruit salad, and cookies & brownies. We will also have water, sweet tea, lemonade, and soft drinks.
