Details:
This will be an out and back ride on the Little Miami Trail. The ride will
start at the Hofbraeuhaus, 200 3rd St in Newport, KY. Park in the parking
lot of the restaurant. We will cross the Ohio River on the Purple People
Pedestrian Bridge, and then follow bike trails and roads (with bike lanes)
until we reach the beginning of the Little Miami trail. We will follow the
LIttle Miami Trail to Loveland and beyond, depending on the wishes of the
group. There are many potential store stops. The first map and cue sheet
stops at Loveland; the second shows the route between Loveland and Morrow,
including a detour from the trail (part of the trail is closed for
repairs). The Little Miami Trail can be followed easily north of Morrow.
After the ride, the group will go to the Hofbraeuhaus for food and
beverages.
