Ever wonder how to ride faster and still be safe? Please join us immediately after the May 14th P4P educational session at West 6th Brewery.
There will be a 30 to 45 minute class where Gary Rogers will cover the following. Types of races, road, criterium, circuit, time trial, mountain bike, and cyclocross. How races differ from group rides. Positioning in the pack, attacks and counterattacks, tactics, do's and don't's, knowing the finish line, riding the week of a race, training to get faster and to be able to stay in the race when the pace goes up dramatically. How to not be intimidated to even try a race.
After the session we will ride a 28-mile route to practice some of the things you have learned.
