Details:
We'll be riding from the Hartland Shopping Center (meet behind Goodwill) out to Richmond via the old Clays Ferry bridge and Ft. Boonesborough, and back via Valley View Ferry. The route is mostly moderate to significant rollers except for the long gradual downhill from Richmond to the ferry and the two significant climbs after crossing the river in each direction.
Planned pace is fast A/B with a rotating pace line. This may vary slightly depending on group size and make-up, but due to the distance and elevation please expect it to be more difficult than a typical A/B ride.
We will regroup at the top of the climbs and may take a short break near Ft. Boonesborough. We will make a store stop in Richmond but note that this is around 40 miles in so please plan accordingly with food and water.
Ride may be canceled or significantly re-routed if the ferry is closed for some reason. Please contact the ride leader if you have any questions.
