Overall Difficulty:
This is a nice ride for most cyclist if you have been on the bike for more than a month. The route has a few rollers and short punchy hills that will get your attention and quite possibly out of your saddle.
This is an 'All Comers' ride so everyone is invited to ride but you are responsible for your own repairs and getting back. However, with all club rides that we do here, each individual group will be regrouping at the top of the hills and intersections. Just be sure to find the appropriate group to ride with.
Details:
In the spirit of the Horsey Hundred Weekend, we thought that we would ride around Country Boy Brewing to warm-up the legs for the weekend. Country Boy Brewing is one of our Proud Bluegrass Bike Partners and was the host for the Horsey Hundred Kickoff Party.
This ride was originally designed for our out of town guests staying in the local area a chance to get themselves checked in, do a short ride and meet the locals while enjoying a beverage at Country Boy Brewing. Because of the great turnout last year and the excitement it brought, it is now the Official Horsey Hundred Kickoff Ride!!
Country Boy Brewing will be providing the post ride entertainment and with their newly established kitchen that is, shall I say AWESOME, there will be plenty of reasons to stick around and enjoy yourself. So whether it rains or shine, we hope to see everyone at Country Boy to ride some beautiful roads and if it rains, well, we will have more time to meet new friends from all over. Can't wait to see you!!!
