Depending on how busy the campground is, please try to park in the parking lot for the pool if it is not closed off or in the campground at the Legacy
Trail Trailhead. Note that Southern Lights will be starting on Saturday
November 17th.
Our official Campsite is 213 in Section D which is close to the campground store, but we may try to move to a site closer to the Pavilion, if possible, in Section C. Note that Section C is “shut down” for the winter.
Arrive around 5:30pm to get set up. Ride starts at 6pm from Horse Park campground completely on Legacy Trail to the North YMCA and back. Note that this will be after dark so LIGHTS ARE REQUIRED.
Makings for S'mores along with hot chocolate will be provided and will start between 7:30pm and 8:00pm depending on time of return to the Horse Park. Hopefully there won't be any rain, but rain will cancel the ride and we can decide if we still want to meet for S'mores.
Bring helmets, bike lights, neon for your bike, chairs, blankets, roasting sticks, funny stories and anything else you'd like to have at the campfire! Experienced campers, please help us think of things we should bring with us. Thanks!
