Ride start time is 6 PM on Sunday 3/5/23
Start location: Chimney Top Rock Trailhead near bathrooms at end of Chimney Top Ridge Road
Alternate parking. Rough Trail trailhead parking off of Chimney Top Ridge Road

Ride will start at dusk and continue into the evening.  Riders MUST bring sufficient lighting to follow the gravel trail.  It is highly recommended that each rider have a minimum of 2 fully charged lights with 1,000 lumens minimum each.  One light attached to the helmet and the other attached to the bike. A spare light is encouraged.  The group will stay together for the duration of this ride.There are ruts and potholes to see and avoid on the route.

The temperature will drop so dress appropriately for a 20 degree change in temp.

Directions to start
Follow Bert T Combs Mountain Pkwy E to KY-15 N/KY-715 N in Pine Ridge. Take 
exit 40 from Bert T Combs Mountain Pkwy E

Take exit 40 for KY-15/KY-715/Beattyville

Turn right onto KY-15 N/KY-715 N

Turn right to stay on KY-715 N at Pine Ridge (corner where Sky Bridge Station and The Brick/Turtle Farm Pottery are located)

Look for Chimney Rock Road on the left approximately 2-3 miles into the Gorge. Trailhead is approximately 3.3 miles out on Chimney Rock Road.

Depending on how much light the moon adds, we may just do Chimney Top Ridge a couple of times versus getting on the pavement to get to Rock Bridge gravel.
