Overall Difficulty:
I'll be riding slow end of B/C pace, others do as they wish. RWGPS claims
the steepest point is at exactly one mile, and not bad at 7%. Plenty are
close to that, and much longer, and most often offer no running start.
Details:
When on top, you can often see for miles, beautiful Outer Bluegrass crop
and pastureland. Old and historic towns - from the back window of the store
stop you can see a portion of the original bison path -the Buffalo Trace.
(Paved and rideable, with a slight detour.) Amish buggies have been seen on
my last two Club rides -no promises. Several roads have been very recently
paved and are great, others in a typical range of quality. Flat Fork Road
is ironically named.
