Please join us for a  inter club ride with the Ashland Cycling Enthusiasts (ACE) Saturday July 20th at 9 AM.
The starting location is about 115 miles from Lexington, KY about a 2-hour drive.  

Starting place: Grayson Lake Marina

3,400 ft elevation 

 

Paces: A, A/B, B, B/C, C

 

We’re inviting BCC up from Lexington, Wheelers down from Charleston, Connex up from Portsmouth, and anyone else from anywhere that wants to come ride!! 

 

There will be 2 store stops. 

 

Route and starting location changed from original plan due to dog issues on the previous route ??

B/C Pace (12-14 mph), B Pace (14-16 mph), A/B Pace (16-18 mph), A Pace (18-20 mph)

Terrain: 2 - Easy Rollers, 3 - Moderate Rollers, 4 - Strenuous Rollers, 5 - Hilly 
Map and cue sheet both provided
The ride will have regrouping, 
The ride is swept 
Rain cancels - check bgcycling.org forum TWO hours before if unsure 
Restroom facilities are available at the starting location 
There will be a store stop

 

Overall Difficulty:

There are a few steep hills followed by relatively flat terrain.

We will follow KY rules of the road which includes riding a double pace at times.  Pace groups will follow BCC Guidelines regarding sweeping and regrouping (not all pace groups sweep).  To learn more about pace groups click on the following link:
