Horsey Hundred Volunteer Registration Now Open!
It takes over 200 volunteers to run the Horsey Hundred and we need you! All club members volunteering at least 4 hours ride the event for free. All volunteers will also receive a volunteer tee shirt. Please consider joining our outstanding group of volunteers this year as we work together to plan, coordinate and execute the best Horsey Hundred event yet! Recruit friends and family to help ... doesn't matter if they ride a bike or not! Know any young people who need community service hours? If so, refer them to us! For more information about the different volunteer opportunities click here. To volunteer, please complete this form. Volunteer coordinators for 2012 are Britteni Clay (

- A list of the various volunteer opportunities available during Horsey Hundred weekend is provided on the following page. It is our volunteers that make the event a success, and without our volunteers, the event would not be possible, so please consider volunteering if you can!
-
- Every club member that volunteers at least 4 hours to support the Horsey Hundred may ride for free. Volunteer shifts are generally scheduled in 4 hour blocks, however some are not. In these instances, since the shift time was established to meet our specific needs, volunteers working these shifts will also be able to ride for free – sign up for these shifts are first come, first served (which is the case with all volunteer opportunities)
-
- What to do if you want to volunteer – Complete the volunteer form on the BCC webpage. Completion of the form enters your information in the volunteer spreadsheet maintained by the volunteer coordinator. The volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you regarding your specific assignment after your form is submitted. If at all possible please use this method to volunteer. If you do not have access to a computer, you can call or e-mail either of the volunteer coordinators listed above to provide your information.
-
- Volunteer Ride Registration and Check In – Registration as a volunteer serves as your registration for the ride. You will check in the volunteer check in table in Georgetown rather than where other riders check in. You will be provided with your volunteer tee shirt, maps and wrist band when you check in. Volunteer check in will be open the same hours as ride registration. If for some reason you WILL NOT be in Georgetown to check in at any of the appointed times, please contact the volunteer coordinator to make other arrangements.
- Kids and Volunteering - If you have children over the age of 12 who want to volunteer, we would love to have them! Please submit a separate volunteer form for each child. If your child needs volunteer credit for school or a civic group, just let us know and we’ll be happy to verify their volunteer hours.
