Looks like it will be a bit muddy and about 50 degrees New Years Day. Hard to figure right now with 19 degrees and 3 inches of snow on the ground. What is the plan B?

The ride is still on. I talked with several people in that area and they all reported the trails are usually rideable all winter due to the rock content of the trail tread and excellent drainage. Everyone is welcome to attend. I've not been riding much so no worries about getting left behind. Below is link to the map. Chris

Camino Real Riders will be leading a 100 mile century ride on Sunday, 1 Jan 2012. Ring in the New Years with a ride.

We'll probably be out for 6-7 ). I do not have a support vehicle at this time, but if someone wants to volunteer that would be great. Bring plenty of food and water, not sure what will be open on New Years day.

We'll be heading out towards Fentress, Staples, Seguin so we'll have a few rollers but no prolonged climbing, Muddy knows the route. We'll do our best to not leave anyone hanging out by themselves but if you can't maintain 17-18mph for 100miles, probably not a good ride for you.
