We hope you will join us for our first fall ride of the season, Nickel 5, this Saturday, September 23 at 8:00 AM! If you are not able to do the Pedaling for a Purpose ride, we would love your company. This will be the final ride of this one-time out-of-the-box series. We hope you will join us to explore less traveled roads, soak in lovely scenery, cycle with old friends, and possibly create new buddies! Please bring your smiles and adventurous spirit as we journey through Jessamine, Mercer, and Garrard counties. After the ride, you can also check out the All-American Burger Bash (at the local Jessamine County Fairgrounds) which will be chock-full of food, vendors, contests, fireworks, and more. Or you can visit Harvestfest (at the nearby Shaker Villiage) which will also be brimming with multiple happenings from music, tours, food, and all things fall.
Maps and cue sheets will be provided and there will be store stops. The assistance of a Garmin (downloaded GPS course) is helpful, but it is not required. There will be no support vehicle, but if you call your own SAG or return on your own, the sign-in sheet, snacks, and drinks will be available at T.A.J.S. whenever or however you return.
We will meet at the back of The Alternative Jewelry Shop at 118 ½ North Main Street, Nicholasville, Kentucky. Please park in the public parking lot beside the building which houses T.A.J.S. Announcements will commence at
7:50 AM and we hope to roll at 8:00 AM. Snacks, drinks, and a restroom will be available before and after the ride in the back of The Alternative Jewelry Shop.
Please check Facebook, call Libby’s cell (859-388-4679), or call The Alternative Jewelry Shop (859-885-4109) for more details or with questions.
